Because of the almost total absence of snow this year, I am reminded of a wonderful morning I spent a few years ago walking in a local open space park. There had been a deep frost and a cloud inversion at the same time, which can cause these beautiful ice sculptures to grow on the trees. It was truly magical and the mist and muffled sound made the whole place feel incredibly soft. It's been incredibly dry this year so we haven't seen anything like this yet.
